Mara Wyttenbach
“Day by day growth”
My entire life I’ve been an active person. Always looking for new ways to motivate myself and others, it’s no surprise to my friends and family that I’ve ended up here. It’s been a dream of mine for many years to open a Health & Fitness Club and I’m excited that Craig & I have finally been able to do just that.
Below are a few of my credentials:
· Received my B.S. in Kinesiology from UW-Madison in 2000
· Currently a sports performance trainer for the Madison 56’ers
· Certified strength and conditioning specialist (C.S.C.S.) since 2000
· Certified in Adult CPR and AED from Dean/St. Mary’s Health Works
· Certified in Level I Functional Martial Arts Muay Thai Kickboxing
· Continued Education Training: Pre-Natal/Pregnancy/Post-Natal and Pelvic Core Dysfunctions - more specifically the demands of pregnancy
· Trained in Pre-Habilitation and Post Re-Habilitation Training
· Assistant strength coach for Womens’ Soccer & Crew teams with Ryan Feek 2000-2001
· Head coach of the Madison 56’ers Girls Club Premiere team 2000-2003
· Assistant soccer coach for the Midwest Regional League Team the Waunakee Jazz 2005
· Received my Masters in Pathology in 2005
· Parade High School All-American Soccer Player
· Named one of the top 25 prospects in the country entering my freshman year of college
· Started every game for the Clemson University Tigers 1995-1996
· Played 1996-1998 for the University of Wisconsin Badgers
· Completed my practicum at Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI with Exercise for Two (exercise for pregnant women), Cardiac Rehab, Pulmonary Rehab and Stroke Rehab - 1999
· Strength and conditioning intern 1999-2000 under Steve Myrland
When I’m not leading classes or training clients, you can find me playing soccer, spending time with family and friends, collecting Barbies, or reading and accumulating wasteful knowledge from celebrity magazines.
